Jonathan Hall
Jonathan Hall is a Martindale Hubbell AV-rated lawyer whose practice areas include corporate and business litigation, contracts, personal injury litigation, products liability defense, premises liability, workers compensation, insurance coverage disputes and general liability litigation. He represents both businesses and employees in matters of employment contracts and non-compete agreements, and he also has experience in claims of legal and medical malpractice.
Mr. Hall has tried lawsuits to verdicts in counties across the state and has argued before the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court. In addition to trial work, Mr. Hall has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution. He has lectured on topics of trial evidence and personal injury litigation. He also presents annual seminars for out-of-state insurance and self-insured corporate clients on various topics related to claims handling and litigation in North Carolina. He has been invited to lecture in the areas of expert retention and utilization.
Mr. Hall received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was named to the All-Academic Atlantic Coast Conference football team. He graduated from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 1993.
He is a member of the litigation section of the North Carolina Bar Association and also a member of the Wake County Bar Association, the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, and the Defense Research Institute. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in North Carolina.
The fifth of seven kids, Jon is a native of Vienna, Virginia, where he was an honors student at James Madison High School. He has been recognized on several occasions for his volunteer work in youth sports in and around the Raleigh and Cary areas, and loves to spend time working summer football camps. His wife, Jill, is a pharmacist. Their time is occupied by trying to keep up with the academic and sports schedules of three very active children.
