Bart Goodson
Bart Goodson began his legal career in 1996 at Patterson, Dilthey, Clay & Bryson where his areas of practice included medical malpractice litigation, personal injury litigation, premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage issues, and general liability litigation. In 2000, Bart joined the law firm of Martin & Jones where his practice was limited almost exclusively to the representation of individuals in the medical malpractice field.
Mr. Goodson came to Hall, Rodgers in 2009. In addition to trying cases throughout the state, Bart has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution. He is a member of the litigation and business sections of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Wake County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in all North Carolina State Courts as well as the Middle and Eastern Federal District Courts of North Carolina. Bart has completed the certification process to become a Civil Superior Court Mediator.
Bart received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then graduated from the Wake Forest School of Law in 1996. In addition to other activities and awards while in law school, Bart was a member of the Law Review and National Moot Court Team. Upon graduation he was inducted into the Order of Barristers.
Bart is active in not only the practice of law, but also in small business, which gives him a unique perspective in representing the firm's clients. Bart is an active member on the Board of Directors for Wake Teen, a non-profit health care organization located in Wake County. He is also an instrument rated, private pilot. His wife, Tricia, is an attorney, and they have twin daughters.
